Parent Login

Has anybody here added a parent login/view process to SSB? Basically we would like to add a web form where students set up a login for a parent as well as decide the type of information they would like for the parent to view. Of course then we would have to set up a parent login page as well as screens that handle the parent view.

I would love to hear about what you did, challenges faced etc.

You can do it through Luminis

We did this using Luminis iv, you can build many channels for the Parent instead of buildind Self Service Pages.
through Luminis, the parent also could access some SSB pages, like the Survey ...

In the process

We have downloaded and adapted Rose-Hullman Institute of Technology's SSB Web4Parent add on to fit our needs.

They have shared their solution with many Banner institutions, and I've seen their demo's at conferences.
