BDN - Banner Developer Network

We have just purchased StarRez to be our Student Residence Management System.

We are implementing it largely standalone, with a batch journal voucher feed to Banner Finance at a scheduled time.

We have had discussions about integrating the financial side of things more closely with Banner - feeding in every transaction from StarRez into Banner and then letting Banner Finance (and Student Accounts) take care of the payments, accounting, and such. In time, we may go there, but for now, with a launch data of April 1, we haven't had the time to figure this out.

Also, we're interested in a real-time query from StarRez to Banner to get student 'tombstone' data - so that we avoid silos of information that are never coordinated.

[it's the old story - a man with one watch knows what time it is, a man with two is never _quite_ sure.]

Does anyone have experience with StarRez and Banner? Has anyone else developed more real-time interfaces between the two?
